Predictions: When Guest Stars Should Become Recurring Characters?

guest-stars-recurring.jpg

Which HIMYM guest star would make a good permanent or semi-permanent fixture? Victoria proved in Season One that a sixth person wouldn’t ruin the flow of the show, and there’ve been some good guest stars that could turn in legendary performances if they became full time. Who would you most like to see expand their roll?

For the sake of equality, I’ve separated the votes into boy/girl. It’s not fair to poor Marshall Manesh that he isn’t as cute as Danica McKellar.

I wish I could vote for more than one…
    but great poll anyway.

    my votes were:
Wayne Brady (didn’t even botter to look at the other contestants)
Virginia Williams (I like many many others, but the show could use a stressed-out character, there’s no story without a conflict of interests)

but I find Coat Check Girl, Victoria, and Wendy the Waitress all very interesting characters.

I believe that if you clear out your browsers cookies/temp files you can vote again and again. You can also use a different browser (IE/Firefox for PC users or Safari/Firefox for Mac) or vote from a different computer (I usually vote from home and work)

Wow, who are these people that love Enrique Iglesias so much? I’m shocked.

Wendy the waitress is my favorite (Charlene Amoia) she is a real character and she plays the part so well. I can relate to her, she makes me laugh.

Alexis Denisof because having a couple on a show…Alexis-Alyson…provides for interesting on-screen chemistry
Charlene Amoia…cause I’m friends with her cousin

Enrique Iglesias? SAY WHAAAAT! I didn’t hate that guy, but his character was kinda lame, same thing the performance of Iglesias.

    My vows are for
    Joe Manganiello as BRAD.
He is just awesome, in the episodios were he has been were funny, the date with Marshall, the Bachelor Party, the Wedding. And I think he and ROBIN would make a prett good couple.

    Vanessa Williams as VICTORIA.
Well, i know it’skinda impossible, but i love this woman, she is so perfect, like a freakin angel!

But Wendy the Waitress is awesome too, besides there are more chances to her being in more episodes than other girls.

My personal opinion, maybe we don’t need another reocurring role, one of the things that make HIMYM special is when one of them appears and do something awesome, like RANJIT, say just a few lines and its legendary ;)
    Awesome poll JD.

*Sorry, not Vanessa Williams, i mean Ashely Williams, I always get confused by the evil Wilhemina from Ugly Betty :D

These voting results wreak of foul play….90 and 132 votes for the respective winners?? Hrmmmmm….

In any case, I voted for my boy Sandy Rivers, and Wendy the waitress.

I was talking with JD last night, and mentioned this to him:

Another reason to bring Wendy the Waitress back….she’s crazy. I’m still convinced of it. And looking back last night at “Brunch” helped me confirm it. The girl that Ted’s Dad makes out with in said episode is none other than Wendy the Waitress. Crazy….I swear.

Jason, that would also explain why Barney was so upset that Ted’s dad made out with her. You’d think he’d be pulling for him as he does for Ted, he could’ve even spun it as being Ted’s dad’s wingman, but, instead, he seemed really peeved. Now we know why.

I smell a “why Wendy the Waitress should come back” post…
