Wow, the show is really pulling out all the stops on guest stars this season. I know he can be a hero, baby, and can take away the pain, but can this guy act? I don’t want to watch the rest of the cast spin in mighty thespianic circles while he twidles his thumbs.

I gotta be honest, I never was very comfortable with celebrity guest stars in sitcoms. It often seems gimmicky.
I’m interested to see how the writers are going to pull it off without succumbing to a celebrity-guest-star-crutch.

I agree with you. However, Wayne Brady and Jane Seymour appeared last season with positive results. Fingers crossed Mandy Moore and Enrique will bring it.
You know who would make a great guest star/ potential-to-be-the-mother? Emmanuelle Chriqui. OH SNAP!
