Barney’s Mystery Woman Revealed: Tess Alexandra Parker

tess-alexandra-parker2.jpgtess-alexandra-parker1.jpg

I was rewatching The Bracket on the train home last night (as I’m wont to do) and noticed something in the credits. I Googled it a bit and beyond a post on tv.com forums no one else has wrote about this.

The girl stalking Barney last night was listed in the credits as “mystery woman”. Her name is Tess Alexandra Parker and, like Ted’s mystery woman, is a relative unknown.

I think it’s interesting that they listed her in the credits. Maybe my Lost fan paranoia is kicking in but this seems like a clue we might see her again in the future. Could she come back? To what extent? What does it all mean? Who’s pants are these?

What do you guys think of all this?

PS. Sorry for the small pictures. Don’t blame me, blame IMDB.

I think she is the mother. When they failed to reveal her at the end of the episode and Narrator Ted was sort of cryptic, saying that he’d see her again, I took it that she could be the mother or important in that role…. or maybe she’s Barney’s monogamous liason! I don’t know if Narrator Ted has ever mention if Barney got hitched or not. Either way, she’ll apparently show up again.

She’ll definitely be back, because Danny Tanner gave us the “more on that later” line. So just like his “that was the end of Stella–for now” (I’m paraphrasing all of these quotes), she’ll reappear at some point.

I don’t think she’s the mother though. I can’t see Mrs. Mosby hating Barney at any point, when the other women in Ted’s life love him (despite thinking he’s a creep at times).

maybe she is the mother, but she hates him because he bang her sister and get her pregnant, then, Ted falls in love with her because what she did yo Barney and…end. xD

maybe it’s Britney, but she didin’t soun like her.
    btw, here are some news

“Oops… Is Brit Doing CBS’ Mother Again?

Hmmm… if this keeps up, people are going to start whispering that maybe she’s the mother.

Britney Spears and How I Met Your Mother are looking to rekindle their mutually beneficial relationship later this season. According to multiple sources, Brit’s in talks to reprise her role as Ted’s stalker in at least one more episode. “It all depends on her availability,” whispers an insider.

Brit’s first go-round on Mother was a resounding success for all concerned: The as-yet-renewed CBS sitcom received a much-needed ratings boost and Spears made headlines for doing something other than driving to her local Starbucks.

It’s not clear whether this would also signal the return of Brit’s boss, Sarah Chalke, whose impeccable comic timing as Ted’s crush elicited shock and awe from critics despite the fact that she’s been hitting comedic home-runs for seven freakin’ years on Scrubs! Get with the program, people!

Well you know, Brit’s schedule is brimming over:

11:00am – First obligatory run of the day to Starbucks (“I hope the Paps see how good I look this morning!)

1:00pm – Second Starbucks run (“I don’t think the Paps saw me this morning…better get more coffee”)

1:35pm – 2hr appointment to get hair extensions fixed (“Do you think anyone can tell where my real hair starts?”)

    4:34pm: – Court date for children’s custody

4:44pm – Starbucks again (“Nah, maybe i’ll go grab a pregnancy test at a major supermarket instead”)

9:22pm – Sit outside own house on driveway,(“but like wayyyy far away from the house, maybe right near the gate where the Paps on the street can see me”) – and cry

    etc…..

Good catch by the way JD, on the true identity of the mystery girl!

That’s not the ACTUAL mysterious girl. That’s the girl who played the girl they THOUGHT was the mysterious girl. Sorry but you got this all twisted… :(

That’s not the girl Barney hasn’t identified yet. That’s Sally, Robin’s friend from work. Compare the pics you posted above to that girl when she faced Barney during his apology. I love the “Lost”/conspiracy-theory stuff, but this one doesn’t fit.

Really? I freez-framed her a few times and she did not really look that much like Tess Parker to me…

And shouldn´t they credit her as “Sally” then? Or at least “Robin´s friend from work”? I mean, the credits roll after the episode, when we already know she isn´t the girl Barney was looking for.

I don’t know why they credited her that way – but it’s the same girl. She has the same moles on her chest as in the first pic above.

We used to own all of her records, it’s a pity that her star has fallen since then.
