So based on posts above and the theme to the writing of the show, I’d say its 90% likely this is the mother. If you’ve noticed there is nothing in this show that happens without reason and the writers love to write in little insignificant moments that they can refere back to in a later episode. Its her ya’ll!

I looked at the first episode of the fifth season, where ted said that his wife was in his architecture lesson, the he said that the mother was sitting … th camera moved up to the right of the screen, and came back to th blond, but i checked that part off the room and i found this sam woman behind the black girl (the one who said no when he was about to to writ PROFF…) this same woman can’t be in the places where ted specificly said that the mother was there!!! it’s her! the mother!

If she is the mother.. then why in an episode when we saw the mother’s leg, the leg was white? and she is darker than The woman’s leg that was.. i’m sorry i can’t recall when or what but i just think that it can’t be her

I KNOW WHO THE MOTHER IS!!! SERIOUSLY.

Everyone knows when the reveal the mother they will probably have flashbacks of her in the background of numerous episodes. Well after reading a few blogs i have compiled a list of episodes that people think they see Nicole Muirbrook in – and there are quite a few to say the least.

Episode “THE GOAT” – min 17.54 – crouching behind marshall in brown leather coat. He turns and looks at her for no reason at all.

Episode “The Pilot” – min. 8.02 – sitting on the left side of Robins booth. Yes, she knows robin…thats how she ends up at the wedding which is obviously norah and barneys.

Episode ” GIRLS VS. SUITES” – min. 20.06 – dancing and singing in the front row, second person.

Episode “DEFINITIONS” – min. 20.12 – coming out of McClaren’s pup when barney and robin walk by. The camera stays on her for an unusual amount of time.

And of course she is in the infamous “bump into” scene as listed above, where her name appears on the credits? Why would her name appear on the credits? hmmm makes ya think

Anyways…this is my theory

i think it could be plus. it was a random moment that actually seemed pretty significant. i hope she is plus for all you people with the ‘ted says they didn’t meet at the party’, they did not meet! seriously they bumped into each other and said sorry. to me meeting someone is at least learning their name or at least more than ‘sorry’. i think she may be, but we won’t know till the wedding (i mean the one he meets her at).
