Is Victoria Coming Back? Update #2
So I’m back and have had a little more time. Here are the facts:
A reader pointed out tedmosbyisnotajerk.com which appears to be written by Victoria as a response to tedmosbyisajerk.com which popped up after Monday’s episode.
As reader Jack pointed out, the new site is registered to Timothy Kirschenheiter while the original is registered to Marc Geller. They were both registered through GoDaddy. The original was registered on March 3rd, the new one on April 4th. Neither of these people are the registrar for slapbetcountdown.com, an old web site associated with the show.
The new site is very detailed. If it’s written by a fan, it’s written by a devoted one. There are testimonials from all of the women in Ted’s life, replete with references to each one’s time spent with Ted. Color me impressed.
There’s an email associated with the the new site—tedmosbyisnotajerk@yahoo.com—that would seem to go to “Victoria”. Last night I emailed “her” this:
I agree. Ted is great. Do you think you’ll try to be with him when you get back from Germany? I would.
Then today I got this response:
Hey Justin,
Well, my internship only lasted two years. And those two years ended this past January. But I took a position with a prestigious French-inspired cafe in the heart of Berlin, so I am still in Germany.
But, I have thought about returning to NYC. If I do, I hope I bump into Ted. I really just want to see how he is doing. And maybe, just maybe, there is still something there.
I’m not sure, though. It is all bery confusing.

Interesting. I’m going to email again from a different address and see if I get a similar response.
Real or not, the site is hilarious. Check out the testimonials, they’re legendary.
What do we think? Is this canon? Made by a fan? Is Victoria coming back? Do we want her to? Her IMDB is pretty empty lately but she is currently filming a pilot for a television series called “Night Life” that Zach Braff is associated with.
Update: This site is fan made. The writers had nothing to do with it. That’s damn impressive though, and I tip my hat to whomever is responsible for it. That means that we probably won’t see Victoria again though. I just think it’s great that How I Met Your Mother fans are starting to make some noise!

Based on this, and the fact that Timothy Kirschenheiter seems to have no connection to the show, I say it is just an obsessed fan.

based on the thread last time that talked about free will and fate, i would not be surprised if the yellow umbrella was connected to victoria in some way.

I really hope she does come back, if only for an episode or two, especially now that the two problems in their relationship are gone, Ted’s feelings for Robin (at least he knows “they” cant work) and Germany.

I lovec Victoria, I really tohught they were great together. I hope she comes back, even if that site isn’t official! I thing it would great to see a Victoria V Stella storyline, where two vie for Ted’s affection. I have a feeling this could be linked to the life-changing event coming up…….? Either that or a pregnancy/miscarriage.

Well, I do seem to recall that the Germany internship was for two years, so of course there’s the possibility of her coming back. I’m just not sure if I would support her coming back into Ted’s romantic life. I can’t imagine her not moving on in 2 years.

I can’t see the reason for introducing her if there’s not a serious plot to be made out of it. I really don’t like shows that bring long-gone characters for a single episode, merely as a gimmick. It’s almost like they’re not taking it seriously.
If Victoria was to come, then let them plan out a story that’ll take a few episodes, with tension and a flow to it. If not, they really shouldn’t bother at all.
Oh yes, it’d be great if they throw some Robin tension too into the Ted-Victoria angle too. I really liked the Ted-Robin relationship
The idea that it will not happen ever (kinda like the anti-romance story) is sad in my view. Even almost a year after they broke up.

i think that victoria will deff. come back. especially seeing as her thing in germany was only for one year. so i think she’ll be back in the picture by the end of this season.

Great site. I hope to God they bring her back for a multi-episode story arch. Her chemistry with Ted is amazing. I could see them trying to date again but after a couple weeks they discover it was never meant to be. Victoria vs Stella is also a good idea.

Oh man I hope that new site is made by the writers because if that is a fan, then that is truly amazing that they would go through all of that.
As for Victoria, I hope they do bring her back in a multi-episode repeat. The timing and the way they played off one another was impeccable. I look forward to seeing what happens!

am I the only one who wanted victoria out of the picture so ted and robin could get together? To be honest, I found her too sweet and innocent (even if she did do something kinky in her grandparents retirement community hot tub). I admit that my opinion of her is very biased because I was always supporting robin, but I for one don’t think she needs to hurry back from Germany anytime soon.
But if she does, I will give her a second chance – maybe I’ll end wanting her to be the mother and stop wishing that somehow its still robin.

@ky I totally agree! I liked Victoria, don’t get me wrong, but I was totally in the Ted Robin club.

I really really hope Victoria comes back too! I think the writers could totally make it work! Like, when they first met, Victoria used a fake name and Ted kept on using the name that she gave him so the kids didn’t recognize the name. Ah… but I hear that they are trying to cast “the mom” so maybe it’s not her after all. But I’d really love it if Victoria was the mom!

Oh and the “Ted Mosby” is a jerk website is obviously talking about “Barney” when he lied that he was “Ted, the architect” in one episode. So the girl in the website isn’t really talking about Ted. She thinks that it was Ted that left the awful note but it was really Barney.

From the start she couldn’t be the “Mother” since Ted’s called her Aunt Robin many times in the intros where he’s talking to the kids.
As to Veronica, she’s not in Germany. She married Santa Claus’ son last month on the Hallmark Channel.
