So what if it is different? It still makes me laugh my a** off, it keeps giving us inteligent, well written stories filled with twists and turns and most of all, it keeps Barney alive. Don't get me wrong, i love the whole cast but NPH keeps knocking every episode out of the park. The only thing that might keep this awesome series from going on for a lot longer is that eventually Ted will have to meet the mother but even then, although the series premise is fullfilled, i think that if they keep this level of writing they could keep the show on the air, even if they have to change the title to "After i met your mother". One of my favorites, Ted Mosby Architect , is great story telling and it had almost nothing to do with Ted finding his wife. I agree with your comments about the show. I may be negative towards certain parts of the show from time to time but it's only because I love it and want it to be as good as it possibly can be.
