i think the childs are STEPCHILDREN.i dont know but i think ted never gonna find someone to get marry.and at last he brings them as him own children.but the childs doesnt know it til the end of the story….

we all know that the MOTHER is neither ROBIN nor LILY!!! He Kept mentioning to his KIDS about Their Aunt Lily and Robin….!!!! And I think we all wanted to Ted's wife… God!!! It's been Forever….!!!!!

I think we should get to see Ted met the mother soon, i wanna see Ted makeing that relationship work. I mean the reason Ted is telling the story to his kids i cus he wants them to know him better than he knew he’s father, and i think he’s kids wound want to know in what way ted can be awesome with there mother. i want to see how i works out with the mother, i think they should drag out the show a litle bit longer and the last season should be awesome, and it should almost be al about ted and his kids mother

P.s what chapter are they on in the U.S?

We need to bare in mind that they all live in New York (right?) and the party Ted went to doesn’t have to be the exact party Stella went to. Maybe that’s just a tease?

I really hope that Stella isn’t the mother. I’m put off by her, for some reason. I think it’s scrubs. Personally I hope it doesn’t work out for Stella. Boo hoo for the kid and what not. But her and Ted just don’t make a good couple to me. And she barely featured in season three.

Anyway, meeting the mother wont necessarily ruin the show, but it will spoil it in a way for me. I hope they drag it out for as long as possible. At the same time I don’t want the show to end after meeting the mother. I much rather have it carry on. And I’m praying that this isn’t the last season. I will die.

Funny if they were adopted xD And as for Barney and Robin. I love them both, and Barney is my fave character, but it would totally spoil everything if he and Robin actually stayed together or something. But I love seeing his nice, caring side =D

I have a feeling that Robin is not the mother, but she will be the “one.”

Think about how the show started, with Robin being love at first sight. Ted knew she was the one… I think it makes too much sense for them to be together.

However, I don’t think she will be the mother. That’s why she goes by “Aunt Robin.” I think the mother actually dies or something. A breakup probably wouldn’t work.

This comes about five or six years after the son is born. Ted gets back together with Robin, and the rest is history.
