Woooo! recap will be delayed

What up yall. After I requested people not post spoilers in the comments it’s like daddy just slapped mommy at the table and everyone is all tense now. It’ll be OK, I promise :)

Since I’d rather not focus on the drama, let’s just move right along. Tonight’s episode “Woooo!” I know nothing about, plot-wise. I also won’t be watching it until tomorrow since I’m going to an Iron & Wine show tonight and won’t get home till late. Anyone else a fan? I wanted to make a post where people who aren’t seeing live music can discuss the episode in the interim before I write my review. I won’t be reading the comments until after I watch the epsiode so as not to spoil anything so try to behave while I’m away.

As I’ve done in the past, once I write my recap I’ll close comments here and link to the new recap. I won’t move these comments over as there’s no good way to do that and it’s also not entirely necessary, I don’t think. Feel free to wait for the full recap but if you’re just bursting to discuss, at least you’ll have a place to do it.

PS. There are some Iron & Wine songs that would work well on the show. They should get on that!

HAVE FUN! I love Iron & Wine. “Passing Afternoon” was on the season finale of House last season and never has there been a more perfect song on a show. And “Upward Over the Mountain” makes me sob lots.

Loved barney’s diatribe on the loss of woo girls and its impact on the novelty shotglass industry and stretch hummer rentals.

here’s my woo-girl hotness theory: Woo girls’ woos are secret cries of their pathetic-ness. Patheticism leads to low self-esteem, which means easier to score with, which in a sense makes a woman implicitly more attractive. Woo girls typically hang out in bunches, creating a cheerleader effect which which increases a collective hotness… which explains why Woo Girls are always hot!*

    *hot, albeit, deftly annoying.

Wow, this episode was awesome! I’m from Sweden (probably that’s why I really fancied this episode), and boy, this episode contained nearly all false prejudices americans got against swedes. :-)

    worst episode i have seen.
    only ted wooing was funny.
everything else made me fall asleep.
i think out of the whole show, this was the worst episode.
i hope they pick up their game

Alright I Can’t “wait for it…” any longer; I have to post my thoughts on the episode.

Little Barney I have to respectfully disagree. I found this episode to be quite funny. Marshall talk-blocking robin, Sven and of course the wooo! girls were great.

I thought the story got back on track, in a sense. Ted is moving on with his life, marshall and barney are working at GNB and there is something brewing with Robin. Not to mention Alison’s pregnancy.

Overall I thought it was a good episode. It was funny, but obviously not the best of the best.
