The How I Met Your Mother Blog

Well, not yet, but soon! Hark, I am not dead. Just taking a little break from the social Internets while we ramp up a big project at work. I’m going to bed but will watch tonight’s episode tomorrow and resume my normal posting schedule. Thanks for your patience, loyal readers know I do this from time to time.

And for those who sent me kind words of encouragement to look past the fighting in the comments: I keep a big smile on the entire time. I’d never keep this (or any) web site running if kerfuffles like that gave me pause. I was just old-fashioned, boring, busy with work. Keep up the comments, even if I disagree!

I will write a recap from last week but here are my bullet-point thoughts:

• I laughed a lot, which means the episode did its job
• Lily is sort of sucking this year but she’s a new mom and while I don’t think that’s a universal get-out-of-jail-free card I also have no idea what kind of pressure it is so I’ll cut her some slack and chalk it up to Future Ted remembering her as particularly insufferable during this part of his story telling.
• I want some Tantrum
