Found: The Online Home of Mysterious Dr. X Radio Show

In this photo exclusive we see Dr X in his natural habitat. Snapped by one Carl Maclaren who shared it with me to distribute to a world hungry for truth.
As if Barney’s video resume wasn’t enough, we also learned tonight that Ted has had some on-air experience. What the show didn’t tell you is that Dr. X had a homepage, and it still exists.
Visit Mysterious Dr X and see what Theodore was up to back at Wesleyan college. What are the chances he had a fat sandwich with him in the recording booth?
The audio files seem to be broken links right now. Intentional? But if you dig around you can find a couple files:
Jock Culture
Sweatshop Protest
Ivy League Scam
Yup, that’s Josh Radnor. How legendary is that?

"Doctor X here, lactating truthmilk for you out of my mindnipple…!!"
I
can't
breathe; this is amazing.
I especially love his plans for the 'happening' in the sweatshop rant.
Thank you, Ted. You have finally impressed me this season.

makes you wonder if there is one for Robin's video resume that got her the job… and if not will we ever see it?
Liz | February 3, 2009 @ 4:02 am
I wonder if Josh did radio at Kenyon? Too bad all my friends who went there with me and did radio have graduated, they might have been able to snoop for us.
Gel | February 3, 2009 @ 5:32 am
I was just going to mention the Robin video…I really hope we get to see that at some point.

I have a friend who went to Kenyon with Josh, I can check with him.

I think I like the Dr. X site/bit more than Barney's video resume (except the snippet they show of NPH in the studio recording). Ted Mosby sure knows how to weave a metaphor. And I love that they have his pretentious pronouncing problems intact.
If Brown had accepted Ted, what would his life had been like? No Marshall, no Lily, no 100k fiasco

Oh! I´m really wanting to see this episode. But I´m brasilian and HIMYM do not air in Brasil. Does someone knows where I can find this episode to download?
thanks

Filipe Duarte | February 3, 2009 @ 5:15 pm
Olá Bruna, eu sou Português, vai ao site series.br, que tens lá os episódios todos!
syd | February 3, 2009 @ 5:49 pm
one of my favourite moments of the episode on the final scene when ted says "why is no one coming to my happenings?!" ahaha
Bruna. | February 3, 2009 @ 6:09 pm
Obrigada filipe! VOu dar uma checadinha lá! Valeu! Ah. e How I Met your mother passa em Portugal?
Filipe | February 3, 2009 @ 6:45 pm
De nada, Bruna.
Em Portugal, sim passa, todas as semanas, num canal por cabo(Fox), só que na tv ainda só começou agora a 4º série. beijo. Filipe

hahaha Ted pronounces medieval the same way as encyclopedia. haha what a douche.
Dr. X is too funny
John Darc | February 3, 2009 @ 8:40 pm
It's a reference to The Fight when he said he was in one of the best medieval chamber groups in the Little Ivies.

Another example of how this show is just heads and tails above all others.
JustinDickinson | February 3, 2009 @ 8:44 pm
I was just talking about that scene. I love how the show makes such small call backs. It's more realistic as that's how real people talk/act.
JustinDickinson | February 3, 2009 @ 8:58 pm
Haha, nice mixed metaphor there Ashley.
Luis | February 4, 2009 @ 4:16 pm
E para variar o titulo em tuga não tem muito a ver. "Foi assim que aconteceu". LOL. Pelo menos mantem o contexto. Props para os fãs tugas do HIMYM
Westfall | February 4, 2009 @ 4:24 pm
It's those small details that make this a great show.
Westfall | February 4, 2009 @ 4:26 pm
"shoving a logic suppository up… where you're full of crap"
Best line EVER. ROFL ROFL ROFL

Podes crer. LOL

I love how the web site looks like it was actually created in the '90s, complete with animated gifs, marquee, jagged-edge graphics, and black background. Whoever created it really got it spot-on.
