How I Met Your Mother Season 5 – Photos
These are some crazy-ass photos. Now of course I want to hear under what circumstances you guys think these photos will appear. What will the plotlines be that lead us here? I’ve supplied my theories along side the images below.
Is this the mother? Will we see Ted get married this year? Doubtful, unless the Mysterious Dr. X has a feline penchant heretofore unmentioned.
Nice to see LAME’s apartment filled with stuff. It was a little empty last year but they’ve lived there awhile now, it makes sense to have it be more full.
I think these are all related. Look at the discomfort on Marshall’s face in the first, then his far-away gaze in the second. The last two, of Lily stripping, must be a fantasy sequence where the only girl Marshall wants to watch strip is his wife. Barney probably moans.
It seems to be a theme to leak photos that involve the cast in the hospital. Same thing happened for the finale last year.

The wedding photos has got to be a dream sequence. There is no one in the room except a priest and about five cats dressed as bridesmaids.
Ted wanted a dog lady not a cat person.

My guess re: the Lily stripper photos…Barney goes to strip club and is amazed to find a dancer who looks EXACTLY like Lily. So he brings Marshall to check it out which of course makes him very uncomfortable.

in the hospital picture, based on marshall's face, i think lily gets pregnant and something goes wrong.
the stripper looking like lily is a good prediction and i would be shocked if that wasn't the case. good call.
the bride does look like one of the girls from sabrina the teenage witch and she also looks like the bond girl from casino royale (eva green). and no way that wedding is real.

Wow great pics JD. I'm getting so excited for this upcoming season.
Little Barney mentioned that Ted is attracted to a Dog lady, and even though we can't see Ted's groomsmen, that picture has to be a dream sequence.
As for the Lusty Leopard pics… I can only imagine

Oki my theory is like this!
With the wedding part, i think its real! I saw in a intervju last season ( i think) with the producers that the show could even continue even if the mum is revelad! So why shouldent it be the mother? And then the mother is in the show and we get to know here in season 6?

On the wedding, the bride kinda looks like this actress http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005441/, lindsay sloane. and judging by the cats wearing bridesmaid dresses, it seems like its her dream sequence since we know that ted is a dog person. thats my take on it.

i think it is a dream sequence..why would ted get married in season 5 after stella left him at the altar? i think that he would take his time and not get married right away..i would be acceptable to me if we met the mother and had a few seasons of getting to know her like we do the rest of the cast.

How fun! I'm pretty sure the wedding photos are fake-out or dream sequence photos as other commenters have guessed. I'm so excited for the season premiere! And WOW, Lily & Marshall's place looks kinda cluttered and all over the place.

now i see the season 4 last episode i think when the camera pans out over the class Ted teaches at university and Saget’s voice says “little did I know your mother was in that class.” That’ll have fans analyzing the sea of faces for years to come.
Somewhere offscreen hear the mother’s voice. Remember, Total bait and switch, classic Bays.
That’s my theory anyway. What do you guys think?

Not a bad call Eric. Tony was trying to help Ted get back on his feet so maybe he gives him a part in the movie. I mean it comes out 2010 so makes all sense they're in filming. Could just as easily be a dream sequence but the Tony thing would be better. As for Lilly as a stripper I'm going with the previously suggested theory that Marshal only has eyes for Lilly and so pictures the stripper as her. I mean Lilly is shown at his side.__Also i don't know if these pics are from one episode or spread out over the series if someone could answer that?__cuz if it's 1 ep then i'd go with leann in saying Ted's dating the girl and it's a dream sequence as Ted isn't shown at the stripclub with the rest of the gang.

I don't think it's only a dream sequence, I'd say it's a nightmare sequence, because what could possibly be worse for a dog person than to marry a cat person?!
