It had a lot of classic HIMYM (the kids, callbacks, gimmicks, Canadian jokes...) however, I agree, it didn't jell perfectly. And the stake-out scene was over the top. I don't really like how they dealt with Robin and Barney in Season 5 (I, like many of you, was expecting more)... but they had their moments. *Loved* "Bagpipes." As for the break up... in a way, it was sweet... especially Barney being sad about it and wondering if it would be awkward being friends again. And I liked the "getting back together as friends" part. I never believed Barney could be single forever... but I do miss the old Robin. I think her character has changed a lot ...I liked her as she was with Ted, honestly. Hopefully she will get back to being Robin :) Looking forward to the next one! Daddy's Home. ha!
