Scrubs Finale Montage – The Book of Love
By JD
I haven’t forgotten about HIMYM but Scrubs is over and that’s a big deal. It warrants a double post in one week.
I should’ve included this the first go around but didn’t think to look it up. Here is the isolated ending montage from the series finale:

And if you want to be brought to tears on the go, I ripped out the song from another youtube video and you can download it here:
Cheers to the end of an era.

Thanks for sharing the song from the finale.
Scrubs was always my favourite show on TV. It gave me eight years of fantastic entertainment and i'll miss it.

Since I love the song so much,I feel the need to say that Peter Gabriel covered this song. It's originally from one of the greatest bands ever, the Magnetic Fields.
I am kinda happy that Scrubs is finally over.I mean, I REALLY loved this show, but the last one or two seasons…it was like,"ok,I turn in because of the good ol' times" but it wasn't that funny anymore and I was just waiting for the happily ever after to happen for JD and Elliot. And it was an awesome ending. And I cried like a baby.

not gonna lie, i had ZERO idea that that episode was the SERIES finale… totally came as a shock when i realized the show was over… even though the last few seasons were breath-taking, they were still filled with some good laughs…
totally choke up when i see that final scene…
time to expand up my DVD collection!

I can't hear that song now without bawling. Absolutely perfect.

You guys notice it wasn't billed as the "series finale" ?
there is a good chance it will be back next year, with a few original cast members and some more new people.
Think about it as the ER of medical comedies now, rotating cast and all.

I'm with you, Sarah. I loved this show for a long time, but pretty much after season 4 Bill Lawrence seemed to run out of good story arcs and relied more on "stoner comedy" (his words, not mine) than actual plot. I still watched, but it was evident that the sentiment from the first few seasons was missing. I'm happy the show is finally over, but sad that I won't get anymore JD and Turk in my life. Also, the finale was actually very well done.

apparently, scrubs has been renewed for a ninth season…with Zac Braff and Sarah Chalke signed on for 6 more episodes? i am not sure how i feel about it…they "ended" it so well this season!

i agree with Aparna. I"ve been a fan of the series since the 2nd season. I didn't really like what they were doing in the 6th and 7th season. This past season i actually felt like they were getting back to the way the show was and i was happy with the way they wrapped up the series.

I think that the series finale was unbelievable. I agree with Sarah, I cried my eyes out during the end scene. In a way, they connected it with dying a little bit–I've heard people say that "Although it felt warm, I knew it had to end" sort of connected it do death. Well, w/e, as a whole–amazing!
