Did anyone else notice that the actor playing Stan was Kevin Michael Richardson, veteran voice-over artist known for his deep, soulful, and distinctly " black-sounding " roles ( including Martin Luther King Jr. in that infamous episode of the Boondocks )? Perfect casting for the small but memorable role.

JD! I hate that I have to click an extra button to read the replies! Is there some way you can put it back the way it was? Or some setting I hit unknowingly?

Maybe I'm the only one... haha

I also thought 200 was low. But I remember reading an alternate description of the upcoming episode a while back (I think initially it was supposed to air earlier) that said that Marshall was going to construct a statistical graph showing that Barney actually 'doesn't get the girl' all that often....

It seems super clear to me in that promo that Robin's just sick and trying to get Barney to leave her alone.

Also, 200? That number is waaay low. I feel like there must be some kind of network pressure to keep it slightly decent. Because 2,000 seems like it would be closer :p

Thanks for the link, Afterglow.
IMO she says that just to get rid of Barney, since, having reached such a milestone as the one in this promo, Barney must be unbarably annoying. She does seem to be sick with something and just doesn't want to put up with him.
Just as they showed Lilly's enlarged belly from eating hot-dogs as an homage to Hannigan's pregnancy, maybe this is the same for Smulders.
Although, considering how promiscuous Robin is, it could be a way to spice the story line and deal with Cobbie's actual pregnancy onscreen. It would certainly complicate things for poor Barney.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Oh, and kudos to Barney for its 200th. LOL.

Can we talk about the episode 22 "pregnancy shocker" clip that's on the CBS website?!! I live in Canada and actually can't access it ("this video is not available for your geographic location") - arg - and the internet is supposed to transgress all geographical borders. And it's too short a clip to be available as a torrent anywhere.

Anyway, so for those of you who have seen it: What's going on there? Is Robin supposed to be pregnant or what?!!

I think Ted pretty much killed any discussion about Holli being the mother with his final line "when i got your mother's number i called her right away". And the way he reffers to Holli is not how he would to the Mother, IMO. When the mother comes along, i think we'll know it... or will we? LOL JK LOL

Oh, and Stan 's the man. Loved that guy.

i m not sure i like this episode like earlier ones, but you got to give them some credit for come up with a sitcom without almost the whole female cast .also, cobie‘s belly,no offense, is a liability of the show now, not a single actress can act behind her bag and/or bar table with a loose shirt. base on the condition of pregnancy, she did a good job. the writer, on the other hand, need to give robin more joke. i think she is losing everybody attention.

i rather consider now as a big turning point for the producers. if they can weather thought this season with a great season finale. i will commend the whole cast and crew with all my heart. but now, i dont think that;s gonna happen.

last thing~~~~~~~don't get it the wrong way , but i think cobie's eyes are getting smaller and smaller. dont judge me, i like Cobie with big eyes ??

Regarding the Barney/Marshall text confusion. Marshall was the person sending texts the whole time, although he didn't identify himself at all through the text. They might save it in the next or a later episode. =P

JD, I know what you mean about watching it with someone. I was introduced to the show by watching a few episodes on a friend's computer with him, and that's how I introduced it to a good friend of mine, and she and I watch every new episode together. We make jokes relating to the show, understand all the callbacks, and just share the experience. It's become almost sacred to us. It's our thing.
Say what you want about living in a material world, but this show does what it does because everyone behind it (writers, actors, etc.) is top notch, and they deserve the props.

Awesome episode.NPH delivery of the Jesus monologue was briliant, the whole Barney and Marshal acting all girly was ROFL and Robin... well, any girl that opens her robe and shows a guy her naked, sexy body, just to prove a point is worthy of respect.
And Lilly's disapearing act continues. LOL. Top notch episode and among the best, if not the best, HIMYM episode ever.

On a side note, those of you who haven't watched NPH in Dr. Horrible's SAB... DO SO. That is one awesome piece of work. NPH + Joss Whedon = AWESOMENESS.

Did anyone catch NPH hosting the TV Land awards? He was great and the opening bit he did had some HIMYM callbacks. NPH in the '60s bit had him saying something along the lines of "Legen- wait for it- is this Wisconsin cheddar because this cheese is good- dary!" then his "mother" told him to suit up.
This man truly is a fantastic actor.

"Jason Segel. Maybe it’s the press videos I’ve been watching but I’m starting to believe this guy is just the coolest person alive." Told you ;)

And I'd also like to thank Kings Of Leon for being the one band that's gotten me to believe there is still a minuscule chance there are amazing bands out there.

Ok, true, Naked Man is probably funnier. And I gotta be honest, it has the whole... nearly naked NPH thing going for it.

I'm fond of almost all the episodes in this season, though. I know some people don't like it, but honestly it might be my favourite.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks that Holli might be the mother. Ted didn't tell anyone the story - not because she's the mother, but because he saw how crazy he can seem, and didn't want to admit to anyone that he moves too fast.

I thought it was a great episode, but by no means the funniest of the season. Above commentors are right - Naked Man!

I can't WAIT for the rest of the season!
