Emma and Shu kissing as totally a cliffhanger. We have no idea what is going to happen, but it won’t be a happily ever after.
Jenn is right, people here LOVE Glee and everyone I know is upset because it isn’t coming back until April. We also want to see what happens at Regionals and we have a MAdonna music episode to look forward to. I also wonder what is going to happen when they graduate.
KAtie, I listen to the music all the time. I Love it!! I think that You Can’t Always Get What You Want was the perfect song for Finn’s voice so that made me happy, and they way they used MY Life Would Suck Without You was AWESOME!!!!

sydb: i get what you’re saying but don’t see things the same way. yes, robin has changed. but in my opinion, she was exactly what you called her in season one – she was cool. i like himym better when it didn’t go for the high “joke per minute-rate”. robin was awesome, she was chilled and genuinely a cool girl that i could see ted falling for (helloo, she went to the lusty leopard for thanksgiving loved that). i don’t necessarily think characters are better or funnier when they start making more jokes. anybody get what i’m saying?! can’t seem to find the right words

I LOVED Glee. One of my favorite songs is My Life Would Suck Without You, and I loved how much energy they had when they performed at sectionals.

I am not worried so much about people watching GLee again in APril. SO many people tat I know love it. Plus with DVR and Hulu I don’t think it being up against Lost is going to be an issue.

@SydB I totally hear what you were saying but Robin hasn’t been doing it for me so much this season. Although I think she kicked butt in Definitions, Robin 101, and Bagpipes. But since she and Barney broke up she has been kind of blah

she’s pretty, so you can understand why ted would be smitten with her, but back then she wasn’t such a good actress. so you might think she was cool, but you would hardly laught at-with her.

but she gradually got better, actually, she got incredibly better, imo she is way better than hannigan now. by season 3 she was nailing every scene they gave her… and not only the funny ones, she was great in the emotional scenes – like when she was crying when simon dumped her for the 2nd time. and by season 4 she was on fire. by season 4 cobie finally found her rhythm, and since then i only have love for robin.

so yeah, i dont get this season 1 love, i always thought she was kinda boring in season 1. the only episode in which she shines is zip, zip, zip, where she teams with barney and we see how much they have in common.

and good to see barney back to his usual self. that was funny.

after watching season 1 again, i suddenly notice a great difference between this season and the first one.

in every episode in season 1 you can see the main plot making progress, one time the series had to have a “previously on how i met your mother”.
i really want that back (BTW “game night”’s ending was awesome. this is what i like about HIMYM)

seasons 4-5, and even 3, feels like “filler episodes”, with no real plot and stories.

what was the last time barney said “suit up” or “legendary”? what was the last time we had a “haaave you met ted”?

and as much as i love robin’s current expressions and laughter, i really want the old robin back. the confident, much hotter robin, with the funny news reports, and her more (a little bit more) sophisticated humor:

Barney: What does Carlos have that I don’t?
Robin: A date tonight?
Lily: Ooh, stop the tape, rewind, play it again!
Robin: [makes rewind sound] A date tonight?

and of course LAME. marshall IS funny, and even though alot don’t like her, she’s pretty awesome. but they are boring. they always used to act like an old couple, but this last two seasons they just took it too far.
what about GNB, or marshall plans to start working for the enviroment. what’s with lily’s dreams to become an artist (i know she gave, yet they still can do something with it), what about a baby, marshall’s family?

i want to see some new adventures (i’m sorry, but the thing with the pizza place was a pathetic try), new barney laws, new experiences. all these things got lost between all the flashbacks, references to the old jokes and old laws and what not. it’s nice and consistant, but.. come on!

I use “you must bump this” quite often.

As for the quotes, yeah, hey became a part of my life too. =D Even though I stopped using Lawyered since my friends get the “weird look”. And I do say Legendary about 20 times a day. xD

Gonna watch the first seasons when I get more time. That would be my… Fifth time. =]

Man, great episode, loved everything about it, nothing new to mention by this point, just glad to see Ted Back on “the hunt”. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I spent a solid portion of the episode checking out all the students in his class. no one there is mother worthy, so it has to be one of the random girls from that Econ class He accidentally taught for 1/2 hour, that must have had 5x the students! Very tricky Carter and Bays, Very Tricky….

The song playing during Maggie’s scene at the end is “Two Weeks” by the Grizzly Bears, and I’ve been listening to is nonstop since Monday night!

The song is by “Snow” (Canada’s version of Vanilla Ice) and the track is called “Informer”. Hope this helps
