TVGuide picks Neil Patrick Harris to Win Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy
TVGuide has posted their predictions for the emmy results. They seem confident that NPH will take the prize. As far as How I Met Your Mother winning best comedy?
DARK HORSE: CBS has proven itself the king of the traditional sitcom, so if there is an upset, I’d look for Mother to steal the prize.

Would love to see HIMYM take it but I don't really see any situation where 30 Rock doesn't take the prize. This will be 30 Rock's third straight, and it's hard to believe that the academy won't start going in a different direction in the future, so hopefully there's an opening for HIMYM somewhere down the road. It's a long awaited and well deserving emmy potentially going to Neil and I sure hope the TV guide doesn't jinx him. I definitely feel like a win for NPH would be a stepping stone to a HIMYM best comedy award.

NPH is head and shoulders above the other nominations, and should take the award. I totally agree with KJO with respect to HIMYM winning in the future by using NPH's win as a stepping stone, but my vote still goes to them this year for their fantastic work this past season!

Saw that article on tvguide.com and I def think NPH is going to take it (especially with reigning champ Piven out of the running). Love to see the show getting the Dark Horse mention for best comedy and while I think 30 Rock wins, it would be awesome if HIMYM sneaks it out. For once I'm actually stoked about the Emmys and can't wait for the premiere on Monday!

Ohh.. I really wish they win the prize as the best comedy.. if not I hope Neil win it.. jejeje.. Well at least It seems that Neil have a great opportunity to win.. Whatever happens, HIMYM will continue as a great show!

Oh I am ridiculously excited for the premier next monday! I've been having withdrawals. As for the Emmy situation, How I Met Your Mother deserves it! It's such an exceptional show and it needs the appreciation it deserves! When exactly are the Emmy's?

I think that both they show and NPH should win..Will they?? Somehow I am doubting it even though the rest of the shows are cr*p in my opinion.

If Mother takes it, I might pass out. I'm hopeful that all the Emmy exposure and NPH hosting will lead to some solid ratings. The show is a half an hour earlier, and isn't paired with BBT anymore, so it definitely has a chance to prove itself as a solid anchor show on Monday nights, I hope it comes through.

Oh, The Office should win. And then 30 Rock. And before you all slap me (that's four) of course I am kidding! Although I like the other shows, too, I think HIMYM actually has a shot! It's so fresh and original, you know? I really am excited for it! And NPH is going to be hilarious- can't wait! It's like a bonus the day before the premiere! I'm also glad to see this show getting some recognition, as the last few shows I've really enjoyed were cancelled. Hopefully that means we don't meet the mother for another… what, 10 years?

Ridiculous! NPH didn't get the emmy for best supporting actor in a comedy. The guy from two and a half men??? You have GOT to be kidding me. That show is horrible.
