Ever since last season we’ve all been wondering what the real story is with The Goat. We now know why Robin is living in the apartment, but we have yet to discover the calamity that ensued on that fateful night.

Many fans, including myself, were worried that with two seasons of build up, the final payoff would never deliver. Hoping to assuage some fears I contacted series co-creator Carter Bays and asked him for any hints towards what we could expect.

JD: Hey Carter, I know I for one (and I don’t think I’m alone) have been waiting patiently since last year to find out the true story of The Goat. Any chance you can drop any hints?

CB: The goat will appear this year. We’ve shot it, haven’t edited it yet, but it looks amazing. To tell the story we wanted to tell, we had to use a real goat and also build a special effects goat. And the SFX goat came out great. Better than we’d hoped.

There you have it, straight from the source. If I thought I was excited before, now I can’t wait to see what happens with a crazy cyber-goat adventure.
