First of all, good to be back. =D This was a really, really, long winter break. Wonder how I actually survived.
Second, can’t wait!! xD This is going to be awesome. I rewatched a part of SE01, and it made me a bit sad, to see how the show evolved, into something, a bit different. Still, I have high hopes, and there still is hope.

Just watched it… Wow!
Liberty Bell Licker | January 11, 2010 @ 9:32 pm
That was classic, season one perfect, HIMYM!
- Robin behind the bar to “Cherry Pie”
- Marshall and Lily’s cuteness
- Romantic french horn-stealing Ted glimpsing the mother’s foot(!)
- Awesome-squared NPH
The musical number was sensational…god, I love this show!

Purple Giraffe | January 11, 2010 @ 11:30 pm
WOW! NPH= Unbelievable! That musical number was so EPIC! This episode was just what I needed today
High Hoper | January 11, 2010 @ 11:36 pm
If this is the best Himym can do nowadays, I quit watching the show.
Really. Except for one joke and the musical thing, the rest I didn’t like it a bit. If this episode would have been done on season 1 it would have had lots of magic that this has not. Really, it’s the best they could do for the 100th episode? I cannot believe.
I think this is going downhill. As I said, I give it this season. If I don’t like a few more episodes, one less viewer. Till now, this season has given 3 of the worst episodes on all the series, and this is a close one to those 3.
The musical was excellent by the way. But remember we do not have a musical thing on everyone to rise up the level of the episode.
Ricky Kidd | January 11, 2010 @ 11:45 pm
I’m with you, High Hoper. Tonight we learned that The Mother…likes bass guitar, matches Ted’s literature and music likes, and has a yellow umbrella? And that Barney will say anything to get into a hot girl’s pants?
It was cute. Robin behind the bar was fun. But that was about it. No clue, even, of when The Mother and Ted will reunite. And Lily and Marshall’s roles were nearly all filler.
Time to mourn the passing of HIMYM, sadly.
KR | January 12, 2010 @ 12:06 am
High Hoper and Ricky Kidd, I agree with you both. They make a big deal out of 100 episodes, and THIS is what they come up with? It was awful. The musical was fun, but it didn’t fit with the show, in my opinion.
And the musical was like the last two minutes of the episode. The first 19? Painfully unfunny, horribly disappointing. They need to stop treating Barney like the main character and start giving Marshall, Lily and Robin meaningful storylines.
Emilie | January 12, 2010 @ 12:06 am
I really loved tonights episode, but not for the musical number. I thought it could have used more instruments. However, I’m a sucker for the teasing we’re being forced to endure, the return of the yellow umbrella (I got one for Christmas!) and the perfection we and Ted glimpse via the roommate. Probably one of my favorite episodes this season and definitely in my top 10 favorite ever.
Jenn- GCWOK Approved | January 12, 2010 @ 12:45 am
That episode was so good I wanted to cry! I thought it was perfect- even with all the buildup! It did not disappoint. Loved it loved it loved it!
Jenn- GCWOK Approved | January 12, 2010 @ 12:45 am
Watching it made me go “oh, yeah! THIS is why I watch this show!”
BGeo | January 12, 2010 @ 1:02 am
I am very surprised with the negative perceptions of tonight’s episode. I loved the episode and thought that the material revolving around the mother is just what the season needed
Toby | January 12, 2010 @ 1:08 am
I loved it! Song was awesome! Barney is just so awesome and a total hottie
I loved the roomate twist and the return of the umbrella.
Robin is really just more and more annoying. Bring back season 3 robin!
Btw who is the bartender?

ricky kid, robin …you the most of that reason why I watch this show. I can’t resist this feeling…..
