Maybe I need to re-watch this episode because I didn’t really think it was all that great. There were definitely some laughs and the message about friends gradually forming their separate lives rung true. I also liked that they dived a little deeper into Ted’s personality, but I just wasn’t crazy about the way they pulled it off. I found it really annoying that Barney kept repeating “Robots vs Wrestlers.” He really over-acted. For those of who have complained that Barney has been too emotional this season, I’m surprised no one brought it up for this episode. I also really didn’t like the way they handled Lilie and Marshall’s discussion about having babies. It felt forced as if they only included it to address the fans inquiries. While some people might think that’s cool, I don’t want the script to be driven by the fans, I want the fans to be driven by the show. Overall, not a bad episode, but don’t think it deserves the amount of praise it’s getting.

70/30. I liked it, but some things that I don’t like are really the weak points of this season. You really wouldn’t believe that Lily, a teacher, would stop Ted that way? And Marshall?

They better give us a proper season finale. I am hoping from now that, now we know there will be at least 7 seasons, that season 6 is better than this…

Its kind of clever of how they used these duplicates, when we saw stripper lilly and lesbian robin, i thought this was just purely a joke that had no meaning, its cool how these small clues were pointing to something very big, i guess that is life. Well done to the writers.
BTW we will see barneys double in the finale, as the episode is called doppleganger. LAME will be trying for a baby next season, I just hope they don’t use the chandler and monica storyline.

I prefer Barney from season 1 & 2. He was more bad-ass.

i loved that wrestler ted… i actually like all of those duplicates.. lesbian robin, moustache marshall and stripper lily..

i also loved that sound that they made when ted started talkin those high-class things… (POO)

The two Marissa theory is plausible but I am more inclined to believe that it could have just been her junk mail that they’ve been getting over the years. I think of this as I got a magazine today that I have never read before nor have any interest in reading yet my name is clearly on the address label. I mean it has been years, so clearly anything she actually cared about she would have changed the address for and the rest might have been something she liked a decade ago or junk mail.

I loved the Wedding Bride trailer, particularly the critic’s comments.

Marissa is definitely not the mother, as the mother is a student, living in a flat sharing.
I don’t think that season 6 will be the last season, as the writers have said in interview, they would carry on with the show as long as it is successful. This show is 1000 times better than friends, and I guess that we will have more seasons than friends had. Maybe we even will have “How I met your father” after the show is over.
