Carl MacLaren, mastermind of all HIMYM’s online presence, contacted me today wanting to reach out to y’all. Here’s Carl:

Hey HIMYM Peeps!

Thanks Carl! Everyone, say hi to Carl and thank him for the awesome accompanying web sites that go along with the show.

Also, my coworker Erin pointed out to me that the 90s hit “More than Words” by Extreme was the motivation for Marshall’s video on http://www.itwasthebestnightever.com/. Unfortunately embedding has been disabled on the video but you can see it here.

How I Met Your Mother Film Noir

I was sent this on Friday but I’ve had a big weekend. Got my wallet and phone stolen. No fun. There is that donate button :)

Here we see How I Met Your Mother envisioned as a film noir. Robin as the femme fatale, Barney as the renegade cop, Ted as the troubled thug. Inspired by the remix of The Shining, CBS’s EyeLab cut this together. I love it. My favorite part is the “Columbia Broadcasting System” and CBS zoom in the end, really nice vintage touch. Enjoy!

I recommend you watch it on youtube in the HD version, it’s pretty.

How I Met Your Mother Season 5 Trailer

The fine folks from CBS cut this trailer together to catch people up on the goings on from the end of Season 4. If this is any indication, Season 5 is going to be chuck-a-block full of RoBarn action.

Start getting excited!
