Hi everybody !
I also recognised the song that sings Barney in the episode 2 of the season 6 as the BB King’s song “Stand by me”. But I try to find the exact version of this episode when Barney’s mum tells him who’s his father and when Barney sees clearly his life as a child. That’s an instrumental version of “Stand by me” and I think it’s really beautiful. Perticularly in this scene that is very emotionally. Thank you for your help if you know this version.

I’am looking for a song/music theme form episode 16, season 6. It was played twice. Each time when Marshal’s Dad appeared.
I think that song was played many many times before, in another seasons. Probably it’s the same song from episode 1 season 1, when Ted saw Robin, but played on a diffrent guitar equalizer mode.

I’m another one going crazy looking for the song already described as

It kinda sounds as a coolish version of La Javanaise, but I’m not convinced. Someone suggested Into Dust by Mazzy Star, I find it a very good guess, but still in doubts, it’s at least a very different version. This chord progression is a classic, it could be many things… Can someone for the sake of my sanity find the version played on the episode?
